Without a Manual

I’m a forty nine year old woman (and a proud mother to my twenty year old daughter) trying to find meaning in the short time I have left in this lifetime. The diagnosis is Erdheim-Chester Disease, and my prognosis isn’t promising. Our days aren’t easy, and certainly much of this isn’t pretty. We’re up against considerable challenges, yet most days we still find something to smile about.
